As a traveler, Flee allows you to search for a trip using a filtering system. From the trips that match your criteria, you can view general informations and save your favorites in your wish list.

Investigate

You can visit the trip page to learn more about the itinerary details, discover the person organizing the trip, and see the confirmed participants.

Contact your travel buddy

To discuss the trip, you can contact the organizer directly. You can also start a group chat with the participants once your spot on the trip is confirmed.

Book your travel

To join a trip, you must apply through the app. You can check the status of your applications directly from your personal dashboard.

Summary

This project was conceptualized, designed, and then coded by a team of 4 junior developers as part of the final project for our bootcamp at Le Wagon.

Main Challenges :

Developing a comprehensive trip filtering system: Creating an intuitive interface for users to easily find and sort trips based on various criteria.
Implementing application management features: Allowing users to track their applications with statuses such as confirmed, pending, and rejected.
Enabling favorites functionality without page reload: Streamlining the user experience by allowing users to add trips to their favorites seamlessly.
Integrating group chat functionality based on application status: Facilitating communication between users in a group chat that adapts to the status of their applications.
